Configuring Docsaway WHMCS Addon

  1. Obtain the plugin.
  2. Open an account at docsaway.com.
  3. Download the files from the Modulized server using the instructions from your welcome email.
  4. Upload the files to your WHMCS installation. (yourdomain.com/whmcs/modules/addons/docsaway)
  5. Log into WHMCS and visit “Setup” → “Addon Modules” and Activate Modulized: Docsaway. Also click “Configure” to specify access control properties for the plugin.
  6. Within WHMCS goto “Addons” → “Modulized: Docsaway”.

On the Configuration Tab

  1. Enter the license key for your installation. This would have been emailed to you after ordering the module.
  2. Enter the API connection settings from your Docsaway Account.
  3. Select your mailing preferences.
  4. If you wish to use the address verification module, specify an email address for system notifications, the amount of time you wish to give clients to respond to letters and which products you would like to verify customers details for.
  5. Confirm the content of the letter you would like mailing, making use of the tokens in our sample letter.

Send Letters Direct From WHMCS

  1. Select “Docsaway” from the “Addons” menu.
  2. Click the “Write Letter” tab.
  3. Enter the Client ID and press search to confirm who you are writing to.
  4. Type your letter
  5. Click “Mail Letter” and the document will be on its way.
  6. TIP: You can view the Client ID by doing an “Intelligent Search” on your contacts name in the search box at the top right of the WHMCS interface.

Verify Your Customers Address Automatically

Modulized WHMC Docsaway module makes validating a clients address easy. It works like this:

  1. Configure the address verification module by selecting whether you verify all your customers or only customers who order certain product(s).
  2. Enter the content for the letter you wish to send. It will include a 6 digit verification code.
  3. The module will make a request to your Docsaway account to mail the letter from one of its many international mailing locations, resulting in fast automated delivery.
  4. The client receives the letter and enters the validation code into their WHMCS account. The WHMCS admin contact will receive an email confirmation of the validation.
  5. If accounts have not been verified after the number of days you specify, the WHMCS admin contact will receive an email advising the account is not verified and you may choose to take further action.

Verify Your Customers Address Manually

  1. Select “Docsaway” from the “Addons” menu.
  2. Click the “Address Verification” tab.
  3. Enter the Client ID and press search to confirm who you are writing to.
  4. Click “Mail Verification Letter” and the document will be on its way.
  5. TIP: You can view the Client ID by doing an “Intelligent Search” on your contacts name in the search box at the top right of the WHMCS interface.

You will receive an email if the client does not perform the verification process or if they do complete it within the timeframe set in the Configuration settings.

Problems & Support
